In the Beginning
We started our gin journey back in 2018 when we visited a small craft distillery in Devon. We were fascinated by the method of production and decided to find out more. Months of painstaking research followed until finally we came upon what we consider to be the perfect recipe and Spirit of Glastonbury ® was born.
Our Story, in Short
We are very much a family business and we are passionate about our gin. We believe quality far outweighs quantity which is why our gins are all hand crafted in small batches, wax sealed and each bottle labelled with its own batch number.

Our
Botanicals:
The botanicals that make up Spirit of Glastonbury® have been carefully chosen to complement each other and bring out the very essence of what we consider to be a true Somerset gin. We even list them on the bottle! – the quantities are of course are a carefully guarded secret.
Our
Water:
We believe the water used to distil and proof a gin makes a huge difference to the final product, which is why we use natural spring water drawn from deep beneath the mystical Glastonbury Tor, here, in the very heart of Somerset.
Our
Method:
We use the vapour infusion, single shot, method of distillation which allows the delicate flavour of certain botanicals to shine through. It takes longer but we believe it’s worth the extra mile. Our still is made of copper and we have named her after Guinevere of Arthurian legend. She can be a little temperamental sometimes, but we don’t mind – it’s what makes Spirit of Glastonbury® rather special!
